Before going on an extended break in 2021, I'd just wrapped up my best investment year ever. What got the ball rolling was positioning myself in early February (which I'd recommended my subscribers do also) for a possible Coronavirus induced market collapse. My instincts were correct and the market hedge trade ended up returning over 2,100% in 32 days. Then I positioned us for the rebound and it was off to the races again.
Out of 61 stock recommendations made in 2020, a whopping 29 of them would end up returning between 100%-700%. It was a spectacular (and crazy) year! Of course, results such as these should not be expected yearly, not even close... but it's nice when they come along and you've positioned yourself appropriately.
It can often be a more leisurely pace at LQQKER INSIDER. Though I enjoy investing, it's not uncommon for me to occasionally go weeks (sometimes even a month) with no new stock ideas. This is for several key reasons: 1) I don't force trades, 2) I typically try to avoid stocks in a declining market, and 3) I don't chase over-valued stocks in over-heated markets.
I consider myself a value and special situations investor. A quality over quantity type. I pick my spots and try to never grow impatient as I know there will always be another good deal coming around the corner... eventually.
